Fund raising update
We are very grateful to all those who have made a donation to our campaign to date. We have already raised £8,000 which is a great start towards our target of £40,000.

For those of you who are still thinking about whether to contribute or not, please bear in mind that if we do not raise the funds needed, then we will not be able to fight the application effectively. This is because we will be unable to afford to employ the experts that are needed to help rebut Broadview's case that this is a suitable location for five industrial-sized wind turbines.

Obviously, £40,000 is a lot of money but perhaps it is not quite such a daunting figure when divided by the number of people and/or families who will be badly affected by the turbines. In other words if we share this cost broadly amongst the community, then we can raise what we need.

All expenditure will be tightly controlled to ensure that we get maximum value for money.

Remember also that any unused funds will be given back to those who have donated on a pro-rata basis.

If you support our campaign to oppose the Broadview wind turbine development then we need you to support us.

There are many ways you can do this listed below but please remember it will take considerable effort to oppose the proposed development and the more that each supporter can give in time, resource and donations the more chance we will have of success.
